Cancellation Policy
Except for custom and special orders, customers may cancel product orders any time prior to product delivery. Custom and special orders are non-cancelable.
Delivery Policy
Delivery requests shall be filled in a timely, efficient and accurate manner by qualified personnel seven days a week.
Rental orders shall be filled with equipment that is absolutely clean, free from functional defects and relatively free of cosmetic defects. Delivery staff is responsible for ensuring that these standards are met at the time of equipment delivery.
At the time of delivery of the items prescribed (or, for post-operative equipment, such as Continuous Passive Motion machinery, prior to delivery), a qualified Surgi-Care representative will conduct and document an in-person visit with the patient to ensure that the product is properly fit and meets the beneficiary's needs.
Equipment shall be delivered to clients within 24 hours of the request unless mutually agreeable alternate arrangements have been made. Requested items not maintained in the inventory shall be secured within a reasonable period of time. The client and/or referral source shall be made aware of delays, if encountered.
Refund Policy
Surgi-Care provides refunds for defective merchandise and osteoarthritis knee bracing covered under warranty. All refunds are subject to product inspection and managerial approval.
Return Policy
Surgi-Care will replace, refund, or repair defective merchandise in accordance with the conditions of the manufacturer's warranty. This excludes damage incurred to merchandise due to misuse, neglect or accident; as well as any merchandise that has been adjusted, altered or repaired by anyone other than a Surgi-Care employee. Due to professional health care standards and sanitary reasons, Surgi-Care does not accept returns on any purchased or dispensed medical merchandise, even if the patient states the product has not been used. All product returns are subject to company inspection prior to acceptance for replacement, refund, or repair.
This policy excludes osteoarthritis knee bracing, which is covered by an extended 100% satisfaction guarantee. Customers who are unsatisfied with their osteoarthritis knee brace may return it for full credit or refund within 60 to 90 days of purchase, depending on the manufacturer's guarantee. Examples of osteoarthritis knee bracing include: DonJoy's OA Defiance, OA Adjuster, OA Assist, OA Everyday, and OA Lite braces; Bledsoe's Axiom, Z12, and Crossover braces; Ossur's Custom Unloader I, CTI Custom Unloader and Spirit Unloader braces; and Townsend's Rebel Reliever and Custom Premier Reliever OA braces.
